These are two different Technology adapted by Nvidia And AMD. In these Option basically help your Graphic cad to deliver more FPS while Hardware Ray- Tracing is on. Both the Graphic card manufacturing develop this features with the help of Machine learning. Company basically develop this feature because Firstly Hardware accelerated Real Time Ray Tracing was introduces by NVIDIA. But when you enable the RAY Tracing Option you are getting very low FPS. Because GPU need more Horsepower to generate 4K graphic with Ray tracing On. So you only get 20-30 FPS in game. But that time AMD doesn’t have this feature. So NVIDIA develop this Feature called Deep Learning Super Sampling or DLSS t o boost The FPS while Ray Tracing Enable.
HOW DLSS Works
So basically to boost the FPS NVIDIA uses there Machine learning Technology and made a option where your Graphic card Render Graphic with Real Time Ray tracing On very low resolution. And after rendering Low resolution 720p NVIDIA uses its AI to stretch the resolution to 1080p,1440p,2k or 4k resolution on which you are playing. You can’t tell the difference between stretch and Real resolution because the graphic are reached with Real time lights.

So basically recently introduces there 6000 series of AMD Graphics card AMD that have this Hardware Accelerated Ray Tracing. So basically for them, they also face the same problem. To overcome this, they also Introduce the same feature like NVIDIA. This GPU also Render images with 720P resolution and with the hardware acceleration and AI the resolution is stretch according to your monitor resolution and give you high frame rates. So basically DLSS and AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution both are same but named different.
But Is AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution is Better Than DLSS(DLSS VS AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution)
Its not yet launched by AMD so we can’t tell any thing about this. But we previously see how AMD game boost perform so we can expect that this feature will perform well in terms of competition. But not only FPS boost AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution also features Fidelity FX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening, Fidelity FX Denoiser and many more to enhance the Graphic details.
